I am vowing to myself to start maintaining this blog (again) and am going to start posting work. I’m actually in the process of getting my shit together (aka my resume, portfolio, and life, the usual) In the meantime, here is one of my first assignments from Visual Communications last year. It’s a sex education poster……….
I mean.. it’s one way of looking at things, right?
The Union workers are still at it, only this time, they’ve brought a new rat that appears to have some type of nasty disease on its stomach. Is this to scare away the students? Not really sure, I still put on a brave face and came to class. You can tell the workers are really making progress with their protests. I mean, after 4 weeks of protesting, you figure they would go looking for other employment opportunities, but that might require too much effort. Keep it up guys! Good job!
I’m sitting in Social Media class, on my laptop, updating my Twitter status, my teacher’s Blackberry goes off, informing him of my newly Twitter status that I am sitting in his class, and now I write about it on my blog. Basically sums it up..
I had some visitors this weekend who had never been to New York City before. So we walked EVERYWHERE in the city.. through Brooklyn, over the Manhattan and Brooklyn bridges, downtown, SoHo, Canal Street, Times Square, the Theater District, Hell’s Kitchen.. it was exhausting but really fun. After living in New York for a few years, tourists can be considered a pain in the ass, especially when you’re trying to get somewhere fast, but you also forget how awesome seeing Manhattan is for the first time. So, it was a blast, and I took lots o’ touristy photos.
